Maritime Coordinates is a nonprofit, global organization for youth and young professionals ages 15-35 who seek to contribute and make an impact by driving change and growth within the maritime industry.

Maritime Coordinates aims to build cross-sector partnerships with government, businesses, scientists, technology developers and academia to solve the world’s most pressing maritime challenges. Through our strategic global partnerships, we engage with organizations to identify opportunities for innovation and encourage youth and young professionals to set sail on the challenge.

Through our work, we seek to raise awareness about the maritime industry, inspire and cultivate leadership, fuel knowledge sharing and provide a platform to attract, build and accelerate new initiatives from all over the world. We also provide a platform for those who share a passion for the sea. Maritime Coordinates connects maritime schools, academies and like-minded individuals around the world. Our members view international challenges through a saltwater lens. 

We want to support and work alongside the next generation of maritime leaders. As a Coordinate, you will gain unparalleled access to accelerator programs, industry conferences, webinars, workshops and mentors.

If you are currently a cadet or student at a maritime academy, we encourage you to start a local chapter at your school. Chapters will be able to collaborate with students from other maritime institutions around the world. Each year, we hold an international conference where several students from each chapter come together with industry professionals, maritime lawyers and regulators, and international organizations to take part in shaping the future of shipping.
